Prithivraj has travelled a long way, starting from Nandanam in the year 2002 to the latest one which is getting ready for release this Onam, Oozham. He went through many ups and downs and initially was type casted and did have many flops in a row. But this young actor took this own time to hone his acting prowess and is now a bankable star. Earlier he didn't fit into all genre of movies especially comedy. Time has shaped him to be a versatile actor and now he easily behaves in comedy films too.

Recently the actor through his twitter account spoke about his best film. It quoted below: The actor selected City of God' as his best film with an honest performance. In the movie, he played the character of Jyothilal who is a henchman of a business tycoon. The story was similar to an incident that happened in a business family in Kerala. The film was directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery and scripted by Babu Janardhanan. It was a failure at the box office but when DVD was released it received rave reviews.
